Maadview’s AP7 series hardware includes a collection of input/output (I/O) modules, communication modules based on industrial protocols, processor modules (CPU), and an isolated serial converter. All these modules are mounted in a modular package on a DIN rail, with their backplane connections to each other being standard. If you connect one or more I/O modules to a PC computer with Mad’s industrial automation software installed, you can create a modular, reliable, and suitable data acquisition system. The AP710 and AP712 communication cards, which are IoT-based, allow you to add them to the system to directly communicate with field instruments using multiple communication protocols and Mad’s cloud software.
All I/O modules ensure accurate and stable measurements over time, even despite temperature changes. The dual Watch-Dog section, which consists of both software and hardware parts, monitors the proper functioning of the CPU and, if necessary, sets the output status to a safe condition in the event of faults or communication problems; simultaneously, it provides alerts via LEDs for the same purpose so that an immediate investigation into the system’s performance faults can take place. This system features complete galvanic isolation to provide good protection against potential interferences in industrial environments.
All devices can operate in an integrated manner using the Internet of Things (IoT) structure and the MQTT communication standard.
